1980s style photo shoot

It is probably becoming obvious by this point that the 'adventure' project that I am working on is covering a number of different time periods. This is proving to be great fun for all involved as it gets everyone a bit outside of their usual range. The two shots below are part of the preparation and development work for the final project images so I feel fairly safe in sharing them with you. Voice – St Mary’s Upton

The Voice youth choir and orchestra is an organisation I have been partnered with now for some months and Saturday evening I was invited to their latest concert at St Mary's Upton to take pictures for them. Attending their concerts is always a highlight for me and this occasion was no different than usual. The event was special however as they were celebrating the release of their first CD with 18 original tracks written and performed by the choir members themselves. The adventure continues

In my earlier post 'the adventure begins' I mentioned that in the first photo shoot of this project we covered two setups. Having already shared a couple of pictures from the first of the two setups, here are a pair of pictures from the second setup of the day. As you can see, the look is very different, thanks to the hard work of the amazing ladies at the H2O hair salon and at Heavenly nails and beauty, both of Grappenhall. The adventure begins

For the past four months I have been working on the planning and organising for a new project and this weekend past all the hard work came together for the first time. With six hair stylists, two makeup artists, two models, a photographer (yours truly) and a creative director we did the first of three shoots, covering the first two of six separate setups.
